News: Golf Around Gotland 2026!
Welcome to Golfa Runt Gotland, May 3–7, 2026. With 5 different 18-hole courses over 5 days on the stunning island of Gotland, alongside 640 golfers, it’s going to be an amazing experience.
We would like to provide information to both past participants and new participants who wish to compete in Sweden’s largest tournament using our format.
The Golf Dinner is being updated to version 2.0
Starting in 2026, we’ll kick off the tournament with a group dinner and kick-off event at the beautiful Wisby Strand, located right on the waterfront in Visby. The reason is that 50% of the participants head home on Thursday evening and can’t attend. Now we’re changing things up and starting on Sunday after the first day of play so everyone can join in and get to know each other.
The awards ceremony.
This means that we will hold the awards ceremony on each course on the last day after the competition has ended. This year, in addition to our main partner Sunbirdie, which is giving away trips worth 75,000 SEK, we also have Golfparadiset, which is giving away trips worth 65,000 SEK. These prizes are for all the winners in the various divisions, and the remaining prizes will be raffled off among all participants who remain on the course after the competition concludes on the final day. The total value of the prize pool is well over 200,000 SEK.
A 3-day singles tournament that same week.
A major announcement for 2026 is that we will be introducing a brand-new 3-day singles tournament, which begins on Sunday, May 3, and ends on Tuesday, May 5. It will be played at Slite GK, Visby GK, and Gumbalde Resort. The entry fee is 2,995 SEK, which includes the kick-off dinner at Wisby Strand on Sunday, May 3, at 6:00 p.m.

Singles Division: 128 participants, 5 days, 2,995 SEK.
Pairs Division (Partners/Spouses): 128 players, 5 days, 5,390 SEK.
Open Pairs Division: 128 players, 5 days, 5,390 SEK.
Park Class Scramble: 128 players, 5 days, 5,390 SEK.
Singles Class: 128 players, 3 days, 2,995 SEK, including dinner on Sunday, May 3, 2026.
