Referees at each club

REGISTRATION
Registration takes place on the website, www.gotlandgolfweek.se, where the entry fee is 2,995 SEK for the singles class and 5,390 SEK for the doubles classes. The prices include 6% VAT, as this is a sporting event.

REGISTRATION DEADLINE
The registration deadline is April 15, 2027. If spaces remain, late registration is available on a first-come, first-served basis up to 48 hours before the start, with a 250 SEK surcharge. For late registration, please email us at info@nordicsportevent.se. The maximum number of participants is 640.

START CONFIRMATION
Be sure to provide the correct email address when registering. The start confirmation, race program, and all necessary information will be sent via email approximately 2 weeks before the race. All information is available on the website, so no race program will be sent by regular mail.

PARTICIPANTS
Men, women, and juniors with an official handicap who are active members of a golf club are eligible to participate. The tournament is open to both amateur and professional players, including PGA members and NA players. Handicap limit: 36.0.

CLASSIFICATION
The singles class is divided into A and B classes based on handicap limits, depending on the number of entries. The pairs class combines the total handicaps of each pair, calculates an average, and is then divided into A and B classes based on handicap limits, depending on the number of entries.

OPEN TURNAMENT
To be held at Ljugarn Golf Club on Saturday, May 22.

RESULTS
Results are published at www.goltlandgolfweek.se

FORMAT
Singles Division – Stroke Play, 5 days (max 128 participants).
Pairs Division – Two-Person Scramble, 5 days (max 64 pairs). 
Pair Class – Four-ball 2 days, Greensome 2 days (max 128 pairs). Final day: Best-ball/four-ball.
Mixed Pair Class – 1 day Four-ball, 1 day Scramble, 1 day singles, and 1 day Greensome (max 64 pairs). Final day: Best-ball/four-ball.

STROKE PLAY:
Maximum number of strokes = the hole's par + 5 strokes.

TWO-PLAYER SCRAMBLE:
Both players hit a ball from the tee. The team then chooses which ball’s position to continue playing from and marks it. The players then place their balls in any order within 15 cm of the selected ball’s position and within the same area of the course where the selected ball was located, but not closer to the hole, and take their shots. 9 shots per person.

The game continues in this manner. In a bunker, the position of the selected ball is restored by raking. Team members may give each other advice and stand along the line of play, both behind the ball and behind the hole.

If relief is taken on a portion of the course that has been mowed to fairway height or lower (fairway and foregreen), the following rule regarding relief applies.

Handicap Scramble for Two-Person Teams:
1. The player with the lower handicap multiplies their handicap by 0.5.
2. The player with the higher handicap multiplies their handicap by 0.2.
3. The results from steps 1 and 2, including any decimals, are added together.
4. The sum, rounded to the nearest whole number, becomes the team’s handicap.

GREENSOME
Two players tee off from each tee; the best ball is selected, and the players then alternate shots from that ball.

Greensome Handicap:
1. The player with the lower handicap multiplies their handicap by 0.6.
2. The player with the higher handicap multiplies their handicap by 0.4.
3. The results from steps 1 and 2, including any decimals, are added together.
4. The sum is rounded to the nearest whole number.

FOUR-BALL
– Two partners compete together as a team, with each player playing their own ball and
– A team’s score on a hole is the lower of the two partners’ scores on that hole.
– The gross score of at least one partner must be recorded on the scorecard.
– There is no obligation to record more than one partner’s score on the scorecard.
– Each score on the scorecard must be clearly identifiable. Failure to do so results in the side’s disqualification.

Four-ball playing handicap:
1. Each player multiplies their playing handicap by 0.9.
2. Round the results to the nearest whole number.

GAME IMPROVEMENT (All courses and game formats)

When any part of a player’s ball touches a part of the course that has been mowed to fairway height or lower (fairway and foregreen), the player may take relief once without penalty by placing the original ball or another ball in, and playing it from, this relief area:

Reference point:
– The position of the original ball.
The size of the relief area measured from the reference point:

– One club length from the reference point.
Restrictions on the location of the relief area:

– Markthe point for position improvement. (Scramble)
Restrictions on the location of the relief area:

– The ballsare placed within 15 cm of each other in any order. (Scramble)

– Must not be closer to the hole than the reference point.
– Must be within the same area of the course where the selected ball was lying.

Before the ball is lifted, it is recommended that it be marked.
The ball may be cleaned.

HANDICAP IN MULTIPLE-ROUND TOURNAMENTS
Participants' tournament handicaps are updated at 8:00 a.m. on the first day of the tournament.

The handicap a player had in the first round applies throughout the entire tournament.
The tournament committee records each individual round in GIT, including any changes to the handicap. (11.2.5 in the Rules and Tournament Handbook)

CADDIE
Rule 10.3 of the Rules of Golf applies. Juniors are also permitted to use a caddie.

Gotska GK, Gumbalde Resort, and När GK: Yellow tees for men. Red tee for women.
Slite GK: Tee 56 for men. Tee 46 for women.
Tees in handicap competitions are applied in accordance with Section 8.4.4.2 of the Rules and Competition Handbook.
Men who have turned 75 may play from the red tee or tee 46.

GOLF CART
A permit is required to use a golf cart in accordance with Section 1.10.3 of the Rules and Competition Manual (see below), effective January 1, 2026. 1.10.3 Permission to Use a Mode of Transportation—Players
For clubs that require a player’s permission to use a mode of transportation, such permission may only be issued by the player’s home club. To obtain permission, the mobility impairment must be a medical condition with an expected long-term recovery process or of a chronic nature. The player must therefore obtain a medical certificate confirming the mobility impairment with a specified validity period. The medical certificate must be reviewed by the board of the player’s home club or by a person designated by the board, who, upon approval, grants the player permission to use a mobility aid. If permission is granted, this is noted in GIT Online in the player’s personal information tab under “Permission for Mobility Aid.”

FLAG AND TEE POSITIONS
The courses will be played with the same or similar flag and tee positions throughout the week, taking into account factors such as weather conditions and course wear.

FAILURE TO APPEAR AT A COMPETITION
Players who fail to appear at the start of a competition without prior notice or a valid reason will be reported to the player’s home club.

DISQUALIFICATION
If a player is disqualified in one (or more) of the qualifying rounds, the player will not receive a final result in the competition.

DISTANCE MEASURING DEVICE
In this competition, a player may obtain information about distances by using a distance measuring device. If, during a designated round, a player uses a distance measuring device to assess or measure other conditions that could affect his play (e.g., elevation changes or wind speed), the player is in violation of Rule 4.3 of the Rules of Golf. Penalty: Stroke play—two penalty strokes. For subsequent violations—disqualification. If a violation occurs between two holes, the penalty applies to the next hole.

RESULTS The tournament is played over a total of five (5) days, four (4) of which are qualifying rounds and the fifth day is the final. During the first four days, the participants’ scores are tallied to determine which players qualify for the final.
The top players after the qualifying rounds (50% of the number of starters in each class) advance to the finals, which will be held on May 27. Ahead of the final day, all previous results are reset to zero. The finals are thus decided solely based on the results from the final day.

The competition has ended, and the results are final once the awards ceremony begins. A complete list of results will be posted on www.gotlandgolfweek.se as soon as possible after the awards ceremony. Interim results will be posted on www.gotlandgolfweek.se throughout the week.

CENTRAL TOURNAMENT MANAGEMENT FOR GOTLAND GOLF WEEK 2027
The Central Tournament Management (CTL) is responsible for drafting the tournament rules for Gotland Runt 2027. The CTL is also responsible for providing information, printing, and distributing the tournament rules. Furthermore, the CTL is responsible for distributing other sponsor materials, starter kits, scorecards, etc., related to Gotland Golf Week 2027 to the clubs. The CTL reserves the right to make changes to the schedule or group assignments if any division or group has too few participants.

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR COMPETITIONS/EVENTS ORGANIZED BY NORDIC SPORT & EVENT (NSE) OR AN ORGANIZER DESIGNATED BY NORDIC SPORT & EVENT.
1. GENERAL

These general terms and conditions (“General Terms and Conditions”) apply to competitions/events organized by NSE or an organizer designated by NSE. The term “NSE” refers to Nordic Sport & Event AB, org. no. 556761–0489. By purchasing a spot in any of our competitions or events, you agree to our General Terms and Conditions as in effect at that time. To participate in certain of our competitions or events, you must be of a certain age. If you register for a race on behalf of someone other than yourself, you are responsible for ensuring that this person has read and agrees to comply with our terms and conditions. Please note that for some of our races/events, there is a time limit for completion, and you acknowledge and accept that we may therefore end a race before you have crossed the finish line.

1. REFUNDS AND RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
   A purchase of a spot in our competitions/events may be canceled up to 24 hours after the purchase is made. After that, the registration is considered final, and you are not entitled to a refund of the fee. Purchases of entry slots for sporting events on a specific date or during a specific time period are exempt from the right of withdrawal under the Act (2005:59) on Distance Contracts and Contracts Concluded Off Premises. * EXCEPTION FOR PURCHASES OF CANCELLATION PROTECTION.
2. CANCELLATION
   If you need to cancel, please read our rules under the heading “Cancellation Protection*” below. If you wish to cancel your participation in any of our competitions or events, please email us at info@nordicsportevent.se.
   Cancellation protection can be purchased for 150 SEK per person. The cancellation protection fee is non-refundable.
3. * CANCELLATION INSURANCE
   Cancellation insurance costs 150 SEK. The registration fee, excluding an administrative fee of 150 SEK, will be refunded upon purchase of cancellation insurance. Does not apply to travel or accommodations related to the competition/event. Cancellation protection can only be purchased at the time of registration. Cancellations can be made up to 10 days before the competition/event with cancellation protection (a doctor’s note or official certificate is always required). Otherwise, the entry fee will not be refunded. The fee for cancellation protection is non-refundable.
   Cancellation protection applies if the following occurs.
   – Death, serious illness, or serious accident affecting yourself, your spouse, partner, your or their parents, children, siblings, or a traveling companion.
   – Call-up to the armed forces or civil defense.
   – Any other serious event beyond your control, such as a major fire or flood in your home, that makes it unreasonable to expect you to honor your booking. You must be able to substantiate your inability to travel with a certificate from a doctor, government agency, or insurance company. Certificates received more than 7 days after the cancellation date will not be considered.
   Cancellation Protection: 150 SEK (0% VAT). * See further information under the “Liability” section.
   If cancellation protection has not been purchased at the time of registration, we reserve the right not to refund any portion of the registration fee.
4. CHANGING A PARTICIPANT'S NAME
   Registration for our competitions/events is personal, and you may not allow anyone else to participate in your name or transfer your registration to someone else.
5. PERSONAL INFORMATION
   By accepting these General Terms and Conditions, you consent to the publication of your name and year of birth in our starter and results lists. If, for personal reasons, you do not wish your name to appear in the starter or results lists, please notify us by email at info@nordicsportevent.se. Please specify which race(s) this applies to. Nordic Sport & Event complies with the Swedish Data Protection Authority’s regulations regarding the processing of personal data. By registering, you agree to have your name recorded and published in start and results lists, including on our website. Nordic Sport & Event processes your personal data to handle your inquiries and to create a registration profile. Your personal data and registration profile are used to register you for races and to match you with any previous registration, thereby linking your past statistics to you. Your personal data and registration profile are also used to contact you and to communicate information and offers.
   We use the information you provide to gain an understanding of your interests. You may opt out of receiving further information from Nordic Sport & Event at any time by contacting us via emailat info@nordicsportevent.se. In orderto provide information we believe will be of interest to you, Nordic Sport & Event’s partners may, in certain cases, market themselves through our mailing list via Nordic Sport & Event. Nordic Sport & Event does not share your personal data with its partners or sponsors. You have the right to access your data, have it corrected, or, if you wish, have it deleted. If you choose to delete all your data, all previous statistics and history will be deleted. You also have the right to receive a copy of your data.
6. MARKETING
   We will have photographers and film crews on site during our competitions and events. By accepting these General Terms and Conditions, you consent to the use of photos and videos from our competitions/events on websites, in advertisements, and in printed materials for Nordic Sport & Event’s competitions/events, without claiming any specific compensation. If you do not wish to appear in any photos or videos, please notify us at info@nordicsportevent.se. Please include your name, bib number, and the race in question. All rights to the commercial sale of videos and/or photos from the competition are reserved by Nordic Sport & Event AB. Anyone wishing to purchase video and/or photo rights is asked to contact the Nordic Sport & Events office at info@nordicsportevent.se to obtain permission and sign an agreement well in advance of the competition. A written agreement must be presented upon request during inspections. All other sales within the competition area are prohibited without the organizer’s permission. 7. PAYMENT
   We accept payments by debit and credit card or via Swish. The company responsible for the payment system is EST Mika:Timing AB, corporate ID no. 556496-3350. In order to offer a range of payment options, EST requires your personal, contact, and order information. The use of this information is governed by applicable data protection laws. We take security very seriously when you enter your credit card number. All transactions are encrypted, and we never store your bank account number or credit card number.
   When you place your order, the amount is debited from your account when you confirm the purchase. As a customer, you are responsible for ensuring that there are sufficient funds in your account at the time of payment. If your account has insufficient funds or if the payment cannot be processed for any other reason, your order will not go through.
8. 
   BOOKING CONFIRMATION After you have submitted your registration, we will send you a booking confirmation via email. To ensure that we have received the correct information, please check the booking confirmation as soon as possible and notify us if anything is incorrect. An incorrect registration will not be counted as a valid registration. The organizer will not contact participants by phone or email to correct an incorrect registration.
9. LIABILITY
   Participation in any of our races or events is at your own risk, and we therefore cannot be held liable if you are injured or if your clothing or equipment is damaged during any of our races. We cannot be held liable for any damage that arises because you, in any way, violate these General Terms and Conditions or the rules and instructions applicable to any of our races/events. The organizer is exempt from liability in the event of a natural disaster, war, government decision, or any comparable event beyond our control that could not reasonably have been foreseen and that affects purchases made or commitments made on our part (such as our ability to organize a race or event). In the event of such an occurrence (force majeure), the terms and conditions for *cancellation protection do not apply, as this is entirely beyond the control of “NSE” or the organizer designated by NSE. If one of our competitions or events is canceled or rescheduled due to an event beyond our control or for the safety of the participants, you are not entitled to a refund of the entry fee or to claim any other compensation from the organizer. Nor does the organizer accept any liability for canceled transportation to and from the competition or event.
10. DISPUTES
    If you are not satisfied with any of our contests or events, please contact us at info@nordicsportevent.se or 0498-691200. If you are still not satisfied, you may contact the Swedish National Board for Consumer Complaints, Box 174, 101 23 Stockholm, or the European Commission’s online dispute resolution platform:http://ec.europa.eu/odr. We do not commit to participating in alternative dispute resolution procedures, but will make a final decision on this matter should a dispute arise.
